Countdown to Revival Prayer Guide

This 28-day Concerted Countdown to Revival is a daily prayer guide to keep your congregation focused on prayer for your revival.  It was specifically written for a Southern Baptist Church, so some references to groups within the church are be Denominationally specific.

It begins on Monday, Day 27, and counts down to Sunday, Day 0.  It is designed specifically for Revivals that begin on Sunday. After Day 0, there are seven days for the week of revival, and 14 days of follow-up, for a total of  49 days of concerted prayer.  If only 10 people use it, you will have 490 incidents of prayer for your Revival Event.  Most churches who have used it report seeing increased numbers of people at the altars two weeks before the revival is scheduled to begin!

Each day includes:

a countdown number at the top of the page;
the day of the week, followed by a special group in the church to be remembered in prayer that day;
a scripture reference for the member to read;
a brief devotional focusing on your church and revival;
and specific prayer assignments to enhance the results of the services.

The church will experience several benefits

Increased sense of unity, since they are all praying for the same things on the same day.
By praying in one accord for the daily prayer assignments, you will begin to see changes in your church family, thus increasing the faith of your congregation.
The weeks of daily devotionals are designed to develop daily discipleship habits among the church members.
Evangelism, discipleship, and worship will all be strengthened and enhanced by the use of this one small tool.
